Or maybe they just had better things to do. As might be expected from a song that namechecks Atari Teenage Riot consistently, it's a pretty hard-driving song that, if you took the vocals off and turned up the bass, wouldn't be entirely out of place as full-on techno. It was tipped for the top by various DJs and music papers and got a fair amount of radio play in the UK but in the event, it didn't actually get very far (unless I blinked and missed it). Continues Helen's tradition of not letting a good lyric go to waste - "Does your heart go boom" is a line from Punk Boy 1. There are a few from other songs too. See if you can spot them. |
