| More info: | 'The one that started it all' says the Damaged Goods catalogue. Just think, when the band put this out, they envisaged it as their one and only release.
Ever. Thankfully, they saw sense. The A-side is especially notable for the keynote phrase 'Girl Power' years before the Spice Girls were even a glimmer of a wet dream in a PR Agent's mind. Some of the lyrics also ended up in their last Damaged Goods single, We Love You. Riding Hi is the ancestor of all those summery songs that the band do so well and also features the first of many Ramones references. |
