| More info: | A one-off release on a cult label. Helen obviously liked this split single more than Happiest Time Of The Year as it
subsequently appeared on the Radio Hits 2 compilation. The original probably sold out long-ago as Wurlitzer Jukebox have made a
bit of a name for themselves in the underground indie world. The lyrics below are my approximation of the French. But seeing as I haven't learnt any French since 1988, there's bound to be loads of mistakes, so feel free to mail me with your corrections. It's not that I'm one of those ignorant, mono-lingual Brits - I'd have coped OK if they'd sung in Czech. But that's not very likely, is it? Hopefully, I'll also get an English translation. On the other track, Belmondo sound like a poor cousin of Stereolab to me, but then again, I only really like one Stereolab song so what do I know? (In case you're wondering, it's French Disko - a little bit ironic, don't you think?) |
